Working field

• Developement of equipment (hard and software) suitable for determining physical properties of solid state samples as there are: electronic conductivity of air sensitive solids at low (10 K) temperature as well as above room temperature (400 K) impedance measurement device for air sensitive powders for up to 1000 K coulometry and voltammetry of inorganic melts
• Measurement of electrochemical properties with the above devices
• experiences in high temperature thermal analysis (TG, DTA, MS) Vapor pressure measurements with the KNUDSEN effusion technique
• Developement of a LHe cryostat for an x-ray single crystal diffractometer
• Maintenance of commercial and self designed equipment
• Responsible for educational and scientific videos
• Coordinator for mainframes at the Laboratorium für Anorganische Chemie
• VMS responsible in Nesper's Group

• music and dance often I change my preference but I'm open to most instrumental music from baroque to Schoenberg, jazz, latin - also folklore, tango / tango nuevo and play bandoneon
